Hanging around

Things have been pretty busy around here. We have been busy doing projects around the house, I think Jared will be super happy when I go back to work then I will stop asking him to do things. Rhys has been helping me around the house, last week we painted the kitchen and changed out the knobs. This week we are painting the baseboards and trim in the living room so Jared can put down the wood floors over the weekend. Don't have many cute pictures this week. Just a couple of Rhys playing on the floor and a video of Rhys finding himself in the mirror. The quality of the video isn't that great because it was on my digital camera but it is so cute. Enjoy!!

3 Months Old

That's right, my little boy is growing up too fast! He is 3 months old now, and acting like he rules the house. He has mastered so many things and we are so blessed to have a good natured baby! Everywhere we go people are always commenting on how happy he is and that is is super cute! :) Rhys has started sleeping through the night and this is a HUGE blessing. He sleeps most nights from 9:30pm-8:30am. Keeping him on a schedule has definitely been a great thing. Also, we have started using his activity center. It is still a little big, we have to put a blanket behind him but he loves it, it is so cute. Not much time left until I have to go back to school, which I am not looking forward too. Thank Heaven for Little Boys

Isn't this plaque we received this week cute!Things sure have been busy around here. We have had something going on every single night this week...Rhys sure is a busy guy. We caught up with friends we haven't seen since Rhys was born, Celebrated Nana Julie's birthday, and saw paw-paw Jay before he left for Salt Lake City. Last night, Aunt Amy and Uncle Randall came over and we had dinner with them. We stayed up late and played games, and Uncle Randall helped us to put Rhys down to sleep for the night. He is going to have to come over every night and put him to sleep! Altough, we have been working on it and Rhys has been going to bed around 9:30pm and sleeping through the night. This is an awesome step for us! Other than this nothing much has been going on for us around here. Rhys is almost to the point where he can roll over, he just needs to figure out how to throw the other leg over, hopefully soon.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope that everyone had a great weekend. We sure did. We did make it down to New Orleans for the weekend to spend time with my family. It was great, a little fast but worth the trip. Rhys met more people than he will ever remember and went swimming for the first time! It was so much fun. We also went out to the garden and picked fresh veggies to bring home. I keep trying to convince Jared that we should start a little veggie garden in the backyard, but Jared isn't on board with that one....yet. Hopefully soon though. We aren't as busy for the rest of the summer now, just a lot of time at home sitting and relaxing. Rhys is developing such a personality now. He is laughing and giggling. Not often but I have it on video, I will get Jared to download it for me and post it. He is also trying so hard to sit up. He wants to and man does he try. He is the happiest when sitting on someone's lap looking at everything and taking it all in. Here are some pictures from the weekend!
