I am a horrible blogger and I take full responsiblity for this. However, my camera broke and I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures. Now thanks to my generous husband, I have a new camera and I can take lots of pictures. So here is my new handy work. Rhys was helping Jared put up the Christmas lights over the weekend and I snapped a few pictures. Enjoy!!!!

Well I am officially the world's worst blogger! This semester proved to be a very busy time for us! From Rhys' birthday (which I still can't find the pictures) to the end of school, with everything in between I am surprised to say we made it! Rhys is such a big boy now, I definitely do not have a baby in my house. He wants to do everything on it own, and doesn't want our help at all. He helps around the house, and is even into feeding Maddux (the dog), most of the time it is food he doesn't want to eat, but sometimes he helps Jared get her dog food for her!
We have entered into the world of potty training and I have to say there are good days and there are bad days. It seems like we have either really good days----no accidents at all, or really bad days----we never potty where we are supposed to! He is getting a ton of help at day care and they are super excited when he shows that he can do it! I am learning a lot of lessons in patience as it is very frustrating for me that he just doesn't get it!
We have spent a great deal of time in the water as Rhys loves to play in it! We have made it out to the pool but I broke the camera so I haven't had a chance to get pictures of it! Rhys loves playing in the back yard and every night as we are watering allows Rhys 5 minutes of fun.
Although we don't get to see our friends the Warners and Ruzickas as often as we would like, when we do it is so much fun! Here we are at dinner a couple of months ago. Rhys loves his Aunty Lora and Mrs. Gia. And boy do they love to spoil that kid!
And you can't tell me that Rhys doesn't look just like Jared! It is almost a mini me!!!
Hopefully I can convince Jared to get a camera soon, or maybe I will just go out and get one myself! Once I find the SD card with the birthday pictures I will post them!

We went down to Seabrook this morning to get fresh crabs and shrimp for dinner tonight. While we were there, we had to drive around and visit everything Jared did as a child growing up. After we took the historical tour of Seabrook, we found this little area to play in. This was the first time Rhys really took to playing in the sand and water. Aunt Jennifer helped him to dig for treasures in the sand. He had so much fun and didn't want to leave. It was great!

I know we are so behind on updating the blog! I will have to do several post to get it all in there! But first and foremost...Christmas! We had such a great Christmas this year. It was awesome that Rhys was finally understanding what Christmas is and who Santa is. We were busy this year as always--and I am not the greatest picture taker (something I vow to get better at through this year!). Rhys was over spoiled this year, as I am sure he will be in the upcoming years! We spent a little bit of time in New Orleans between Christmas and New Years. We took a ride on the streetcars and walked around the Riverwalk. (here is where you all get disappointed in my picture taking abilities because I forgot the camera) Lots of fun was had as Jared lost the parking ticket and we couldn't get out of the parking lot, and Rhys experiencing a seafood poboy. On to the more important things...ones we actually took pictures of!
Santa was really good to Rhys this year. He received a table and chairs, a stuff buzz lightyear, Toy story color sheets with crayons, a tool set (like Daddys), puzzles, buzz lightyear wings, a tent and tunnel, cars and a mat to drive on and most importantly a basketball goal!
Here we are in New Orleans, well on our way to New Orleans.
Then here we are playing at Aunt Nancy's house.
I am waiting on Jared to upload the video of Rhys playing basketball. It is too funny.

This weekend mom and dad took me to take pictures for Christmas. What were they thinking trying to get me to behave for two hours and not play....I really was trying to be good but.....
I had a cousin to play with......
A dad to entertain me.....
My favorite toys...
And of course mom did tell me not to get dirty but really who did she think she was kidding.....
Hope you are having a great December!!!!
