We went down to Seabrook this morning to get fresh crabs and shrimp for dinner tonight. While we were there, we had to drive around and visit everything Jared did as a child growing up. After we took the historical tour of Seabrook, we found this little area to play in. This was the first time Rhys really took to playing in the sand and water. Aunt Jennifer helped him to dig for treasures in the sand. He had so much fun and didn't want to leave. It was great!

Christmas season
I know we are so behind on updating the blog! I will have to do several post to get it all in there! But first and foremost...Christmas! We had such a great Christmas this year. It was awesome that Rhys was finally understanding what Christmas is and who Santa is. We were busy this year as always--and I am not the greatest picture taker (something I vow to get better at through this year!). Rhys was over spoiled this year, as I am sure he will be in the upcoming years! We spent a little bit of time in New Orleans between Christmas and New Years. We took a ride on the streetcars and walked around the Riverwalk. (here is where you all get disappointed in my picture taking abilities because I forgot the camera) Lots of fun was had as Jared lost the parking ticket and we couldn't get out of the parking lot, and Rhys experiencing a seafood poboy. On to the more important things...ones we actually took pictures of!
Santa was really good to Rhys this year. He received a table and chairs, a stuff buzz lightyear, Toy story color sheets with crayons, a tool set (like Daddys), puzzles, buzz lightyear wings, a tent and tunnel, cars and a mat to drive on and most importantly a basketball goal!
Here we are in New Orleans, well on our way to New Orleans.
Then here we are playing at Aunt Nancy's house.
I am waiting on Jared to upload the video of Rhys playing basketball. It is too funny.

This weekend mom and dad took me to take pictures for Christmas. What were they thinking trying to get me to behave for two hours and not play....I really was trying to be good but.....
I had a cousin to play with......
A dad to entertain me.....
My favorite toys...
And of course mom did tell me not to get dirty but really who did she think she was kidding.....
Hope you are having a great December!!!!

Football
I thought these were too cute not to share will I was updating! Jared and Rhys playing football this evening! Oh and by the way....our big boy peed in the potty tonight. He also watched most of Toy Story from the potty but hey whatever works! :)
Check out this Monkey!!!
I know, the costume looks a little like a bear, but it does have a tail. Every house we would go to, they would say what a cute little bear and Jared would say "he's a monkey.....seriously people!" Hahaha---what a great halloween and trick or treating. Rhys loved it!
