Seems like forever since the last post! Things have been pretty hectic around here with Rhys and working. Seems like he is doing something new everyday that is keeping us on our toes! He is too cute for words and Jared and I are really cherishing our moments with him. He is talking so much more now it is crazy! Jared takes him to the babysitter in the mornings and says that Rhys talks the whole way there. Actually they listen to sports radio and Rhys holds a conversation with Dan Patrick. He evens pauses to listen and let Dan talk! It is too funny!
I on the other hand have been a big pusher of the no thumb sucking in our household and wouldn't you know that Rhys is sucking his thumb. There is nothing that I can do about it. I take it out he puts it in. However, he is only doing it at night when he is sleepy or when he wakes up in the middle of the night to go back to sleep. It drives me crazy. If it gets out of control I don't know what I will do!
He still isn't rolling over from his back to his stomach, although he is soo close. He sleeps on his side so I know he is trying to get there. He sits up on his own a little bit. We can't handle long periods of time on our own but with the pillows behind him he is good to go for a while.
It has been pretty hard to leave him at the babysitters all day. I feel like I am missing out on things. It has been a great experience though, and I really like the lady who is watching him. She is a great person. I know that you guys don't really want to know what is going on in our world, so I will show you some pictures from the last couple of weeks....now I have been slacking in this department!
